Homebound

I’ve been away from this site for a time. An opportunity arose to move back to my hometown, and the move itself along with the mental transition have taken more energy than I expected. Perhaps it’s getting older, though I’ll shelve that possibility for now.

It’s also the times, I’m sure. Though I’m quite fortunate in my personal circumstance, the wind carries an air of impending crisis (hence much of the writing on these pages). And so a powerful urge to return home is probably to be expected.

And so here I am, a changed man on familiar terrain. I’ll be curious to see what impact his has on my writing. Hoping for a change in quality (upswing) more than a change in kind, but you never know with these things. In any case, I expect an increase in frequency.
